Toddlers Gear Up for Fun at the STRIDER Adventure Zone at This Year’s New York International Auto Show

Rapid City, SD,   March 18, 2013 – Strider Sports International, Inc., the world leader in no-pedal balance bikes, says adults shouldn’t be the only ones to have fun at this year’s New York International Auto Show (March 29 – April 7, 2013). To prove it, Strider will bring its crowd pleaser STRIDER Adventure Zone to the show where kids from ages 18 months to five years can get in on the action for themselves.

The STRIDER Adventure Zone gives kids a chance to “swap” their car seats and strollers for their very own ride – a STRIDER ST-4 balance bike – and experience the freedom of riding on two wheels. In a safe, friendly and fun environment all young riders can try their hand at developing balance and coordination skills on a specially designed course of ramps and pennants.

“The New York International Auto Show does a fabulous job of getting families geared up to have fun,” says Ryan McFarland, Strider Founder and CEO. “We’re thrilled to bring our Adventure Zone to the show this year. Our zones are engaging, fun distractions for the youngest families members but more importantly they’re an easy way for parents to let their child test ride a STRIDER bike and get an early start to a life of healthy, outdoor activities and exercise.”

Attracting thousands of families each year, the 2013 New York International Auto Show takes place March 29 – April 7 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Families can try out the FREE STRIDER Adventure Zone at Booth 1617, Monday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. or Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
